Mrs. Bert Starkey, 70, of Dozier, died Tuesday afternoon in Shamrock General Hospital.
Mrs. Starkey, who moved to the Shamrock area in 1909, was born in Oklahoma. She was a member of the Lela Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Bert; sisters, Mrs. C. C. Brothers and Mrs. Lena Beard of Shamrock, Mrs. O. E. Addington of Miami and Mrs. Dovie Paschel of Fort Worth, and a brother, Elmer Walker of Deming, NM.
