Helen Virginia Mager, 84 of Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Bayard, WV died Sunday, October 19, 2014 with family by her side.

She was born July 25, 1930 at Campground, near Tunnelton. She was the daughter of the late Berness and Edith Craig, and wife to the late Harry McMurdo of Tunnelton and the late Norbert Mager of Streetsboro, OH.

She is survived by one son, Roger McMurdo and wife, Dawn of Ravenna, OH, two daughters Beverly Schafer and Ronald of Cleveland, OH., Debra Dewitt and husband, David of Bayard; two sisters, Jean Hallbritter and Oscar (Mick) of Littleton, CO, Dorothy Williams and James of 'Windham, OH; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grand children with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Harry Mark McMurdo, Jr. of Bayard, one daughter, Shirley Kay Sineri of Melbourn, FL and one brother, John Craig of Tunnelton.

Friends will be received at Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, on Tuesday, October 21 2014 from 12noon till 2pm. Followed by funeral services at 3:30 pm with Reverend Phillip Marcum officiating. Interment will follow in the Rhodes Cemetery, in Borgman near Howesville.
