Pastor King was the founder and Pastor of New Beginnings Apostolic Faith Ministries, Inc.
Survivors include her parents, James C. Mill, Sr., and Doris V. Mills, her loving husband of thirty-six years, Joseph King, a son, Joseph A. King, a daughter, Miracle M. King and fiance' Tad Pettenger, two brothers, Wallace Mills and James Mills, Jr., four sisters, Robin Mills, Tina Johnson, Joan Dunham and Denise Mason and one goddaughter Monica Langford. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Tinnin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, from the Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Mt. Zion AME Cemetery of Atglen.
Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to NBAF Ministries, P.O. Box 65096, Virginia Beach, VA 23467.
