Bernice Parthenia Gray, 98 of Anahuac died on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Bayside Community Hospital in Anahuac with her family by her side.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and great-great-great grandmother.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Anahuac Cemetery under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Anahuac. A gathering of Mrs. Gray's family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 1st at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gray was the past owner and operator of Gray Cleaners in Anahuac. She was a member of Anahuac United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bubba" Gray; parents, A.L. Hunter and Lillie McCoy Hunter; sisters, Floriene Burford; brothers, Darrell Hunter and Ralph Hunter, B.J. Hunter and Don Hunter; grandson, Guy Lyn McClung; son-in-law, Billy McClung.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann McClung; grandsons, Mark McClung and Kevin McClung and wife, Diane; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
