Mr. Beekman aged 78, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Crystal Joyce of Springfield from a stroke. He lived in Sinking Springs, Highland Co. Ohio
He is survived by two other daughters and four sons, Mrs. Ocie McKinley of Marshall, Mrs. Ann Lee, of Mt. Sterling, Lester Beekman, of Piketon, Porter Beekman, of Middletown; Calvin Beekman, of Springfield, and Robert Beekman, of Philadelphia.
Burial was in Cedar Chapel Church Cemetery, Elmsville, Sinking Springs Community of Highland Co.
