Mr. Emil Hovey was born July 8, 1882 in Germany and came to this country in early childhood. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and remained in that faith until his death at his home on April 29 at the age of 71.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emil Hovey; a son, Alfred of Neilsville; two daughters in law; one sister, Amelia Wilson of Glendale, Cal.; two brothers, William and Gust of Tomah and four grandchildren.
