Ray and Sylvia moved to Clearwater, Florida, and then to St. Petersburg, FL. Sylvia outlived him by 12 years, passing away in Clearwater, FL.

"Uhrichsville, Ray S. Wright, 76, of St. Petersburg, Fla., a native of Uhrichsville and formerly associated with Twin City Hardware and Canton Hardware at Canton, died of a heart attack Thursday while touring Grand Canyon National Park. A Florida resident 10 years, he was a son of the late James and Ida White Wright. He was a member of United Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, the former Sylvia McCue; a son James of Cherry Hill, N.J.; a brother, Jasper of Stillwater and a sister, Mrs. Ray (Edna) Engle of RD 1 here. Services will be Sunday at 1:30 in Lindsey Funeral Home at Dennison with Rev. Jack Grimes officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park at Dover. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday night from 7 to 9."
