There is not a lot of information on William Blanton Boyd III except for his Service in the Revolutionary War with his father. Recorded documents are difficult to distinguish from his fathers. There is no tombstone for William Blanton Boyd III as the William Blanton Boyd Cemetery no longer exists. The last time I checked (1989) there was a mobile home on top of it. (Per Laurens County Assessor's Office). There was a Memorial Tombstone erected for William Blanton Boyd II at Friendship Presbyterian Church Cemetery next to his grandson James Boyd by the DAR. Another Tombstone for William Blanton Boyd III should be erected there as well.
