George Earvin Walker was born in Missouri in 1860. He moved with his parents, Benjamin Cheshire and Martha Eades Walker, to Kentucky in 1864. George married in 1884 to Nancy Ellen Chelf. They had 6 children.

Funeral services for George Walker, 91, were held at the Roley Christian Church in Casey Creek, KY, Saturday, December 22 at 2 p.m., under the direction of Rev. Harold L. Newlan, and Rev. Jas. Prince. Burial was in the Roley Cemetery. A retired farmer, Walker died December 21 at 2:45 a.m. at Norton's Infamary, Louisville, KY. Born December 15, 1860 in Carroll County Missouri, Walker had lived at Casey Creek, in Adair County, for many years. His wife, Nancy Ellen Walker, preceded him in death December, 1950. Walker was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Walker of Missouri. Survivors include three sons, Thelbert L. Walker, Knifley, Charlie E. Walker, Louisville and Roy Walker, Campbellsville; three daughters, Mrs. Ebb Mann (Hattie), Casey Creek, Mrs. Elby Owen English (Gertie), Arlington, Texas, and Mrs. Arthur C. Wolford (Annie), St Matthews; one brother, Benjamin Burch Walker, Casey Creek, and one sister, Mrs. Estill (Louisa)Goode, Marrimac. Pallbearers were Orvill Mann, Howard Walker, Chester Walker, Leon Christie, Carl Wolford, and James Walker.
