Janet M. Briggs, Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on November 21, 1945 she was called home on January 14, 2012, her beloved poodle Cinnamon was at her side.
Janet loved life and her vivacious character and love of doo-wop music and dancing endeared people to her.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Shawna; grandchildren, Cory, Curtis and Ryane; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother, Ron and many friends. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, David and son, Todd.
We will miss Janet and her quirky fondness for travel, shoes, clothing, jewelry and vodka. Her giving spirit and love of others served as a testimony that life's most precious gifts aren't bought but given from a loving heart. So now we say a fond good-bye to her and wish her luck on her latest adventure introducing doo-wop to the angels.
