Mildred Malissa White Breland, a native of Vancleave, MS and resident of Pascagoula, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012. She was 98. Mrs. Breland was a member of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula. She loved to crochet and was an avid reader, devoted to reading her Bible each day.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mabry T. Breland, Sr.; parents, Alfred Calhoun and Addie Roberts White; brothers, Leonard Roberts White, Alfred Elmo White, Marvin Luther White, Jack Dempsey White, and Alton White, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Malcolm M. Breland of Memphis, TN. and Mabry T. (Linda) Breland, Jr. of Vancleave, MS; and her granddaughter Jessica of Vancleave.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thanks to the Mary-Martha Sunday School Class; Dixie Wiley and her daughter Linda Holland; The Management of Morrison Village; Sara Tait Personal Care Home; and Southern Care Hospice for all the love and compassionate care given.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 9:30am until 11am at First Baptist Church of Pascagoula, MS., with Funeral Services to follow at 11am with Rev. Dennis Ray Smith officiating.
