Big Stone Gap, Va. Peggy Jo Craft 70 passed away at her residence in Artesian Well Hollow, Friday (Jan 13, 2012).
She was a member of the Faith Hope United Church in Big Stone Gap. She was retired from the Norton Community Hospital as a CNA with 20 years of service.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Annie Maggard Grimes, daughters, Jadonna Phillips, Valerie Meade, son Randy Meade, stepson Steven Craft, brothers, Jack, Bill, Johnny, Bobby and Charles Grimes.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Holley�Woody�Craft of the home; her sons, Phillip Meade, Eddie Meade, Stepson, Michael Craft, Wendell Craft, Timmy Craft and Chris Craft all of Big Stone Gap, Va. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Lano Grimes of Gray, Tn, Steven Grimes of Kingsport, Tn, Randy Grimes of Dayton, Ohio, Ricky Grimes and Bobby Jean Parsons both of Appalachia, Va., Betty Robinson, Patsy Woodward and Nancy Woodward all of Big Stone Gap, Va. Doris Calton of Kingsport, Tn,. and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday (Jan 16, 2012) from 6 to 8 P.M. at Gilliam Funeral Home, Big Stone Gap. Funeral services will be Tuesday (Jan 17, 2012) at 1 P.M. in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Mike Meade and Dr. Randy Grimes officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, Va. Family will serve as pallbearers.
