Mrs. Wilhelmina Fiedler, 1728 Seventh street, Peru, died this morning at Peoples hospital following an illness with a complication of diseases. She was removed to the hospital a week ago last Saturday. Mrs. Fiedler was sixty-four years old on January 28. She was born in Germany and came to the United States at the age of fourteen, locating in Iowa. A year later she moved to this vicinity and has resided here ever since.
Surviving are four children: Mrs. Emma Pletsch, Mrs. Amelia Naumann and William Fiedler, all of Granville; and Edward Fiedler of Tonica. There are also fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 from the residence of Mrs. Herny Naumann, a daughter, one mile south of Standard to the County Line Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in the Granville Cemetery.
