RICHLANDS - Wid Thomas Townzen, 77, of Richalands, died March 27 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.,. today at Onslow Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Sasser officiating.
Townzen was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine L. Townzen; two sons. Jesse Townzen of Fort Worth, Texas, and Wid Thomas Townzen Jr. of Hughes, Arkansas; a daughter, Pam Sasser of Richlands; and 10 grandchildren.
