Mrs. Stahlman Succumbs Today

Mrs. Jennie Edna Stahlman, 56, of 139 High St., died at 10:45 am today following a years illness. She was born on Jan. 8, 1895, a daughter of the late Charles and Ida Baum. Mrs. Stahlman was educated in the Fisher schools.

In 1913, she was married to Charles Stahlman, who preceded her in death on August 27, 1947. She came to Oil City in 1930 and has made her home here ever since. She was a member of the Salvation Army.

Surviving are the following children: Clair of Limestone, NY, Charles of Towanda, NY, Mrs. Ida Downing of Rouseville, Mrs. Claude Moore and Mrs. Lorraine McCauley of Oil City and Russell and Shirley at home. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and a brother James Baum of Strattonville. The body was taken to the Crawford funeral home where friends will be received. Interment was made in Grove Hill Cemetery.
