After William died in 1927, then Hazel died in 1951, Emma moved to Los Angeles to live with Ethel. About 1955, she moved to Lane, Oregon to live with son Chester. Emma died there in 1960 and was taken to Steele City, NE, to be buried with her husband, William. (Chester.died the next year & was buried in Lane, Oregon.)

When I knew my great grandmother, Emma, I was a small child. But I remember her well. She was hard of hearing, had bad eye sight and didn't talk very much to us children, but she always dressed nicely, with her hair done and her jewelry on. She sat about a foot from the TV so she could hear & see the picture. I look forward to seeing her in the resurrection. Gloria Jean Miller Gray.
