Maria Grazia "Mary Grace" was born of Italian immigrants, Antonio & Maria Grazia (Corradino) IUPPA.

She grew up on a farm in El Moro with her older half-siblings, Jennie & Domenico, and younger sister, Elizabeth. After graduating from Trinidad High School in 1930, Mary Grace moved to Greeley, CO where she received her teacher's certificate from the University of Northern Colorado.

On June 2nd, 1934, Mary Grace married her sweetheart, Charles Joseph "Charlie" CAPPELLUCCI in Mt. Carmael Catholic Church in downtown Trinidad. They were the parents of one son, Anthony Jerald CAPPELLUCCI.

For many years, Mary Grace taught in a one room school, with her son as one of her pupils. In her later years, she worked as a substitute teacher.

Mary Grace enjoyed thoroughbred horse racing with her husband and family. The CAPPELLUCCI family owned and raced numerous horses over the years.

On December 19th, 1974, Mary Grace lost her battle with breast cancer and died at Swedish Hospital in Denver. She was only sixty-two years old.
