LeRoy F. MIDDLETON June 27, 1924 ~ January 5, 2012 On Thursday, January 5th, LeRoy decided he had accomplished all he had set his mind to do, and peacefully passed on to a better world. LeRoy was predeceased by his wife, Janet in 2001. Left behind to continue his legacy are his children - Michael Middleton, Robert Middleton, James Middleton, and Susan Dennis (Earl). He also leaves his wisdom and integrity to his seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Longtime Edmonds resident and co-founder of Reid, Middleton & Associates in 1953, LeRoy was a dedicated and highly respected and nationally recognized member of the Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors' communities. LeRoy served as Chairman of numerous councils, was President of LSAW and Washington Council of Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors. He has accomplished a hundred times more than can be listed here. He has educated and inspired thousands, written countless articles, and published a book. He served his country, honorably, in the army during WWII, where he received several decorations and citations. We will miss you 'grandpa', but you will always be with us because you touched our lives in the best possible, positive way. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2011 at Edmonds Memorial Cemetery, 820 - 15th Way SW, Edmonds. Family requests donations to Edmonds Historical Society.
