KENNEY -- Rhobie A., died at The Cloisters, La Jolla, July 14, 1993. Born in Michigan in 1909, she was the widow of William W. Kenney who died in 1984. Rhobie and Bill Kenney operated The Buckoes Summer Day Camp in Sorrento Valley for many years. Mrs Kenney is survived by four children, Elisabeth "Jinx" Ecke of Coronado, David W. Kenney, D.V.M., of Poway, William B. Kenney, M.D., of Olivenhain, and Meredith Maler of Rancho Penasquitos. She had twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Privat e family services were held Saturday, July 17 at El Camino Memorial Park. The family suggests donations to the KPBS Reading Service, 5164 College Avenue, San Diego, 92122-0527.
