Billy E. "Bill" Adams was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Fort Worth. He graduated from North Side High School and attended Texas A&M University and Texas Christian University. He served in the Navy and was a pilot in the Marine Air Corps during World War II. Bill was president of Lydick & Adams Construction Co. and a partner in Butcher & Sweeney Construction Co. He was an avid golfer in his retirement years and loved to watch his grandson play sports.
Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Lucille Adams of Fort Worth; daughters, Lou Ann Wester of Tyler and special friend, Paul Demgen of Colorado, and Denese Jones of Arlington; and grandson, Clint Faught of Arlington.
