She was born August 15th, 1878 in Iowa and resided there for 30 years until moving to Galesburg, where she lived for the last 47 years of her life.
In 1909, she married Joseph L. Coe in Adair Iowa. He died October 20th, 1942. She was a member of the Central Congregational Church and the Burlington Veterans. Crocheting was her hobby.
Surviving are one son, Joseph J.(and Madeline)Coe of Galesburg, one daughter, Mrs. Doris Ferris of Chicago, one brother, Newton Parkinson of Adair, Iowa, one sister, Mrs. Mary Wilson of Galesburg, Three grand children, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services to be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Kimber & West Mortuary with the Reverend Ernest B. Fisher officiating. Visitation on thursday at the Mortuary.
