Mabel Cooper was born March 6, 1929, in Malmo to Oaker William and Edith Hulda Victoria (Storm) Myers. She graduated from Aitkin High School in 1947. She worked at the Aitkin Hospital as an aide for nine and-a-half years and as a licensed practical nurse for a year. She continued nursing at the Princeton Nursing Home and later at Mercy Hospital for 13 and-a-half years before retiring in 1991. She achieved the Eastern Star No. 122 OES.
Survivors include four sons, Paige, Brian, Clive and Colin; nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren; six sisters: Edith El Dorah Holm, Doris Shaw, Pauline Snyder, Corinne Walker (Wasilla AK), Myrtle Savage (Fremont CA) and Jane Humphreys (Aitkin MN).
Her parents died earlier.
