Mrs. Willie Ethel Burton, 50, died Monday at her residence, Surgoinsville, Route 1.
She is survived by her husband J. B. Burton; seven daughters, Mrs. Elva Bailey, Maryland, Mrs. E. L. Hunley, Mrs. Hazel Laster, Mrs. Jessie Laster, and Misses Bob, Margaret and Janice Burton, all of Surgoinsville; seven sons, Gale, Rogersville, Erskle, Dock, Morris, Jimmie, Kenneth, and Buddy, all of Surgoinsville.

Funeral services were conducted from the Long's Bend Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Sam Smith officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
