JOSEPH RALPH ADKINS, 63, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011. He was born December 21, 1947, in Cabell County, a son of Kitty Kathryn Sullivan Adkins of Chesapeake, Ohio and the late Ralph Ezra Adkins. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Lynn Adkins and John Wayne Adkins; one sister, Joyce Evelyn Baker. He is survived by the mother of his children, Debbie Adkins; one son, Joseph Scott Adkins of Huntington; two daughters, Michelle Adkins (Timmy) and Kathy Frazer (Keith), both of Huntington; four grandchildren, Amber Adkins, Amanda Adkins, Brayden McCloud and Sydney Adkins; three brothers, Ezra Adkins of Huntington, Daniel Adkins of Milton, David Adkins of Chesapeake; 10 sisters, Betty Harless of East Lynn, Jean Harless of Lavalette, Wanda Harless of Huntington, Mary Freeman of Huntington, Carolyn Plybon of Lavalette, Brenda McGowan of Lavalette, Martha Baker of Huntington, Cindy Pike of Texas, Kimberly Frazier of Dayton, Ohio and Frances Musser of Ona, and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011, at Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
