He was born in Laurens, SC, and was a son of the late Franklin Sherman and Shirley Mae Simmons Ginn. Mr. Ginn was employed with Presbyterian College for 23 years and attended Broad St. United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Penny Morgan Ginn of the home; two daughters, Heather Elizabeth Ginn of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Ashley Taylor Ginn of Spartanburg, SC; and two sisters, Dianne Clarke of Laurens, SC, and Tammy Craddock of Honea Path, SC.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Tony Steven Ginn.
