FORMER LOCAL WOMAN KILLED

Tragedy struck the home of Mr. and Mrs. Worth D. Wright, 498 North Ridge Avenue, prominent city residents, when they were notified of the death in an automobile accident of their only daughter, Mrs. Norval L. Pielstick, 24, at Colfax, Washington, Saturday afternoon.

They were informed a car in which she and her husband were riding struck a slick spot in the road and crashed into an oncoming truck. Mr. Pielstick was severely injured and was rushed to the Colfax hospital. Relatives were informed he suffered fractured pelvis and ribs but is expected to survive.

The parents left immediately for Pullman, Washington, near Colfax, where the Pielsticks had been temporarily residing to attend memorial services at Washington State College. The Pielsticks were married about two and one half years ago. The body will be returned here for funeral services, relatives said.

The couple were en route to Spokane with friends when the accident occurred. At the time of her death, Mrs. Pielstick was employed at the Washington State College Library.
