This is what I wrote on his legacy page, dated December 14, 2006

I stood for the first time, in October, at your final resting place
What else could I do

I stood there with a broken heart and tears flowing down my face.
What else could I do.

I stood there numb and realized this is the closest I would ever be to you.
What else could I do.

I layed down for hours beside you for a few days talking to you.
What else could I do.

I left a piece of my heart with you.
What else could I do.

I will grieve and forever love you.
What else could I do.

With all my love, Braden
