Leone E. Peterman, our dear mother, grandmother, and friend, went to Heaven on December 25, 2011. She was a resident of Bethel Home since July 2009. Leone was proud of her family and looked forward to the annual family reunion, and keeping her family close. Leone was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and was a great help to the quilters, making many lovely quilt designs, and sewing them on her old treadle sewing machine. She was also a member of the Sarah Dorcus Circle. Leone enjoyed playing cards with her dear neighbors and friends, and serving her delicious pies.

Leone worked as a waitress at Hotel Raulf and Hotel Athearn, as well as other restaurants in the Oshkosh area. She was the manager of the Tastee Freeze and retired while she was employed in Food Service at UWO Commons.

Leone is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Sprague of Appleton; three sons, Nathan (Mary Fay) Peterman of Oshkosh, David Petermann of Green Bay, and Ralph (Mary Jo) Peterman of Brookfield; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Joan Peterman and Donna Petermann; two sons-in-law, Ted VandeBerg and Ed Weiler; and many nieces and nephews.
