- Charles Perkins Jr., 67, of Springfield died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, at his home. He was born Nov. 28, 1932, in Springfield, the son of Charles and Tillie Marar Perkins. Mr. Perkins worked for Lake Area Disposal, having retired in
1984. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: several sisters, nieces and nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, the
Rev. Charles Lee officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National
Cemetery.
