John W. Abbott, a well known resident of this county and a former school teacher of Wesley Chapel, died at the home of his son Clark, in Laurel, Del., on Monday, February 25th 1924, aged 81 years. He leaves one son, Clark, and one daughter, Mrs. William H. Grumbine, of Wesley, and other relatives in this county.

Funeral and interment at Wesley Chapel on Thursday afternoon. C.V. Tipton & Son, funeral director.
