Johnny King, of Irving, passed away on October 9, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 12, 2012 at Brown's Memorial Chapel. A Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 2:30 PM at the City of Lubbock Cemetery in Lubbock.

Johnny King is survived by his mother Wanda King, sister Rhonda Johnson and husband Dr. Bill Johnson, niece Meredith Wharton and husband David, and nephew Will Johnson and wife Amanda.

Johnny King was preceded in death by his father Frank King.

Johnny King was born on November 30, 1949 in Lubbock and was raised in Lubbock. Johnny King worked for Goodwill Industries with their first road crew. Johnny King enjoyed bowling with First Baptist Church bowling leagues for many years and was a long time fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Johnny never missed watching a Dallas Cowboy game and now he will be watching the Cowboys from Heaven's sidelines.
