She was born Feb. 20, 1958, in Woodsboro, to Samuel Valdez of Woodsboro and the late Dolores Martinez Valdez.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors: husband, Augustine Adams; daughters, Reba Baker and Irma Avila, both of Victoria; sons, Coye D. Baker of Edinburg, Jose D. Baker of Victoria; sisters, Paula Flores, Cathy Valdez, Julie Tijerina, Rose Pena, Geneva Yanez, all of Woodsboro, Eva Solis and Victoria Perez , both of Goliad, Becky Valdez of Victoria; brothers, Henry Valdez of Beeville, Patricio Valdez of Refugio, Ruben Valdez of Lake City, Felix Valdez of Victoria, Steven Valdez, Tony Valdez, Samuel Valdez Jr., all of Woodsboro, Pascual Valdez of Lubbock; and six grandchildren.
