Damion Lamont West, Sr., 28, of Richmond, Va., departed this life suddenly on July 9, 2009. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his daughter De'aire Cockrell and son Damion West, Jr.; fiancee Alicia Taylor; mother Patricia West Blowe (Jodie); father Vance Williams; brother Anthony Blowe; grandmothers Constance Powell and Naomi Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Oakwood Cemetery.

As of July 9, 2013, the fourth anniversary of his death, law enforcement had made no arrests in connection with Damion's murder.
