73, of Cynthiana, formerly of Lexington, passed away Sat, Dec 10, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late James Russell Bailey and Mildred Rickerson Bailey McCoy. A U.S. Air Force veteran, James was an electrician and a member of the Catholic faith. Survivors include: one son, James Russell Bailey III of Cynthiana; two daughters, Mary Helen (Hany) Nosir of Muskego, WI and Cheryl Clarice Lazaropolis of Lexington; two sisters, Nancy Gill and Saundra Webb, both of Nicholasville; three grandchildren, Ahmed and Amira Nosir, and Eric Lazaropolis. A memorial mass will be held 11am Thu, Dec 15th at St. Paul Catholic Church by Rev. Charles Niehaus. No visitation is planned. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Road is in charge of arrangements.
