Lula Mae Aldrich, 86, of Otterville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 15, 2010, at Tipton Oak Manor.

She was born March 23, 1924, in Barton County, a daughter of Thomas C. and Bertha Alvina Bishop Glenn. On June 12, 1943, in Sedalia, she married Lloyd Richard Aldrich, who died July 28, 1977.

Mrs. Aldrich was a member of Otterville Presbyterian Church and VFW Post 2591 Auxiliary. She worked at Weber Shoe Company for 17 years, and Central Missouri University for 10 years as a dorm mom. She enjoyed taking care of her yard and flowers.

Surviving are two daughters, Shelly Ehlers, and her husband, Jackie, and Dian Potter, and her husband, Gary, all of Otterville; three grandchildren, Kevin Potter, Kelly Potter and Delbie Ehlers; six great-grandchildren, Cody, Kayla, Kory, Kelbie, Allison and Daylon; and a sister, Nellie Jenkins, of Houston, TX.

She was predeceased by three brothers, John, Duggie and Danny Glenn; two sisters, Helen Allen and Mildred Routon; and a granddaughter, Stephanie Ehlers.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville, with Pastors Randy and Dianna Marcum and the Rev. Pat Roller officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Otterville Presbyterian Church.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
