Surviving are his wife, Alma Hampton; a son, Merle Hampton of Marmaduke; two grandchildren, Devon Hampton of Marmaduke and Neilous Ray Hampton of Paragould, and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral was at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Gould presiding.
Interment was in Ramer's Chapel Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge of services.
