Dr. H.C. Bruner, was a 1902 graduate of U of L and also practiced in Hart County for several years before settling in Louisville where he became active in Crescent Hill Baptist Church. During WWII he was assistant medical director at E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company neoprene plant in Louisville and later served with the Veterans Administration before his retirement in 1955. He was active in the Crescent Hill Masonic lodge as well.
