SERVICES TOMORROW FOR DROWNING VICTIM
The funeral for Felix Bialota, World War Veteran, who drowned Sunday night in the canal and whose body was recovered yesterday afternoon, will be held tomorrow morning from his late home, 136 Kent Street. Services will be conducted in the Holy Cross Church. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of Poulson & Van Hise. Bialota, who was 26 years old, was a former member of the Ninth Infantry and was overseas for some time. He was last seen alive Sunday night. He had visited a friend on Union Street. It is believed he walked up Federal Street to the canal bank where he was seen to stagger and fall into the stream. Coroner Bray, motorcycle Policeman Bennett, Roundsman Carry and Carl Whitney, of South Broad Street, composed the squad that recovered the body. The drowned man leaves a wife and one child, His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bialota, and 3 brothers and one sister also survive.
