My Aunt Russell, according to her obituary (in the Ft. Wayne Indiana Journal Gazette) retired in 1979 as a clerk for the Montpelier Utilities Dept. Had been the secretary/treasurer and elder at First Presbyterian Church of Montpelier. Served as head of the Ration Board for the Montpelier area during WWII. Her husband, Richard V. Breininger died in 1944 during the war and she never remarried, nor did she have any children. She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters and was the daughter of Alonzo and Mary Glass Gravett (Gravette)
