Claude E Vanderpool, 72, died Thursday, Sept. 20 at his home in Nixa. A resident of Nixa two months, Mr. Vanderpool previously lived eight years at Marionville, and was a member of the Christian church.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; two sons, Ora Lee Vanderpool, Omaha, NE and Loren of Springfield; two daughters, Mrs. Elnora Simpson, Dixon, CA, and Mrs. Verna Richardson of Verona; two brothers, John of Delta, Co, and Arthur of Barber, AR; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Motley, Vinita, OK, and Mrs. Alice Asmussen, Liberty, KS; 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, two stepsons and a half-sister.
Funeral arrangements were under direction of Harris of Nixa.
