FRANCES J. PELTIER
Frances J. Peltier , age 71, died early Sunday at the Zilla Convalescent Home after a long illness.
Mrs.Peltier was the widow of Amos.L, and daughter of the late William S. and Matilda Tucker.
A life -long member of St.Peter's Church , Mrs. Peltier was a leader in the church activities , a member of the L.C.B.A., and the Church Alter Society.Mrs. Peltier was prominent in the local Red Cross in World War 1 and has for many years done charitable work in this area.She was a member of the Woman's Relief Corps for 25 years and up to the time of her fatal illness was president of the group.
She leaves one son, Bernard A., of Port Huron, and several nieces and nephews.
Prayers will be said at the Groesbeck Funeral Home tonight and Tuesday at 8 pm.
The funeral will be held from Groesbeck's at 9:30 am Wednesday with services at St.Peter's Church at 10 am.Fr.
