The funeral for Vernon R. Richards, 72, of 126 Parker St., who died Friday at the House of the Good Samaritan, after a brief illness, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday with full military honors at the Reed and Benoit Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Van Horn of the Hope Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Felts Mills Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Reed and Benoit Funeral Home.

Mr. Richards is survived by two daughters,
