Freddie Cluster Underwood, age 80, died at the NMMC in Tupelo on August 24, 1976, He was a resident of Fulton. Funeral services were held August 25 from the Senter Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife, Mrs. Ethel Marie Underwood; two sons, Hollis Elton Underwood of Byhalia and Jimmy Lee Underwood of Zion, Ill.; six daughters, Mrs. Bernice Holley and Mrs. Rada Lavell Young, both of Fulton, Mrs. Nellie Jean Pickens and Mrs. Ova Mae Jenkins, both of Batesville, Mrs. Tula Rea Freeman of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Clemmie Nell Armstrong of Tupelo; two sisters, Mrs. Rilla Farris of Fulton and Mrs. Ella Skinner of Missouri; 35 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
