Gena Lee Haines, 81, Lee's Summit, died March 11, 2009.
Gena Lee was born Dec. 8, 1927 in Newark.
She was the beloved wife of Kenneth M. Haines for 62 years.
She was a devoted mother whose children and family brought her the greatest joy and memories in her life. She was a longtime member of the Assemblies of God. She will always be remembered for her kind, loving spirit she shared with everyone.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; three sons and their wives, Mike and Donna, Jerry and Judy and Dan and Ronda; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Andy Dixon, Todd Haines, Stephanie and Ryan Nicholson, Jeremy and Sheila Haines and Dana and Sam Frederick; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. March 14 at Langsford Funeral Home, 115 S.W. Third St., Lee's Summit, with burial in Floral Hills East Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 13 at the Langsford Funeral Home Chapel.
