Nora Alice Adkins, 95, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Monday March 22, 2004 in Mariner Health Care, Huntington, WV. She was born March 16, 1909 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ernest M and Minnie Swindler Shockley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Adkins;
daughter Marilyn Ramsey;
son Leroy Adkins.
She is survived by
her daughter and son-in-law Deanie and Jack Burcham of Proctorville;
two sisters Ella Williams of Athens, Ohio, and Olive Milard of Albany, Ohio;
four grandchildren;
two great grandchildren;
two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service was conducted at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Eddie Salmons.
