Mrs. Edwin Wilke, 70, a resident of the Town of Plymouth, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Plymouth Hospital earlier in the day.
The former Laura Heincke, she was born Sept. 19, 1895, in the Town of Greenbush, the daughter of Mr. and a Mrs. Christian Heincke. She attended district schools, St. John's Lutheran School at Plymouth and Plymouth High School.
She was married to Edwin Wilke Dec. 14,1929, at Plymouth.
They lived in the Town of Lyndon a year, moved to the City of Plymouth where they lived until 1935, and then they moved to the Town of Plymouth.
Mrs. Wilke was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Plymouth.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Allen (Marilyn) Payne, Town of Lyndon; two grandchildren; a brother, William Heincke, Plymouth, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Wittkopp, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. G.A. Karpinsky, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wittkopp Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Thursday to 11 a.m. Friday and then at the church.
