Funeral services for Billy Glin Tutt, 69, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2011, with Brother Al Davis and Brother C. J. Duffey officiating.
Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Trent Orr, Chance Orr, Bob Harmon, Randy Hawkins, Jerry Hawkins and Danny Hawkins, Kenneth Thompson, Charles Pearson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Mac Simmons, Ken Branch, Charles Westbrook, James Moore, Randy Roberts, and Alex Craze.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Billy Glin Tutt passed away at his residence, Thursday morning, December 1, 2011.
He was born December 3, 1941 in Bowie County, the son of Adolph Tutt and Ira (Smith) Tutt.
He married Virginia Simmons in DeKalb on June 7, 1963; she survives.
He was a carpenter and a member of Assembly of God Church. Other survivors include: son, Gerald Tutt of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Renee Tutt-Semler of Sulphur Springs, Anita Tutt of Bonham; brother, Savoy Tutt of Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren, Trent Orr, Chance Orr, Kaitlynn George, Rebecca George, Jacklyn Semler and Jacob Semler; brothers-in-law, Johnny Mac Simmons of Winnsboro and Bernard Simmons of New Boston and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Herman Tutt and Rickey Tutt, and three sisters, Olla Mae Floyd, Marie Hawkins, and Cora Tutt.
