Obituary in Post Crescent on Nov 27, 2004:
Yvonne D. Wedelstadt, 57, Hortonville, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at the Appleton Medical Center. She was born on April 27, 1947, in New London, daughter of the late Franklin and Caroline (Drews) Reinhardt. On Aug. 21, 1965, she was united in marriage to Joseph Wedelstadt in Appleton. She formerly worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton and Lakeview Manor in Weyauwega. Yvonne loved her flower garden, her cat, Fluffy and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite place to go was the Red Mill in Waupaca. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two daughters, Vicky (Thomas) Heise, New London; Tammy Wedelstadt and her fiance, John Berna, Seymour; one son, Michael Wedelstadt and his special friend, Julie McDermid, Fremont; four sisters, Phyllis Reinhardt, Scranton, Penn.; Sharon (Daral) Steiger, Watertown; Joyce Genske, Fremont; Dorothy (Larry) Petit, New London; eight grandchildren, Tony, Brett, Alicia, Jacob, Jordan, Ashley, Raymond, Dalton; also numerous special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Eugenia Wedelstadt. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Interment will be in the Lakeview Memorial Park in Oshkosh. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Little did we know that morning God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone, For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
