OGLESBY – Mary E. Oglesby, age 65, of 1391 Moss St., Eugene, passed away at her home Saturday, March 11, 1950.

She was born in Escanoba, Mich., July 21, 1884 and had been a resident of Lane County for the past 43 years.

She was married to Walter Jackson Oglesby in Murphy, Oregon, September 4, 1910. Mr. Oglesby preceded her in death February 19, 1948.

She was a member of Cascade Chapter No. 155 O.E.S. and a member of the Daughters of the Nile Temple No. 13, Zuleima in Ashland, Oregon, Nile Club, Eugene, Ore., and Past Matron of Cascade Chapter.

She is survived by two sons, Francis M. of Longview, Wash., Leith J. of Wichita, Kans., two grandchildren; one brother, William Leith of Medford; one sister, Anne Belle Mitchell of Grants Pass, Ore.

Funeral services will be held at Bartholomew-Buell Chapel Tuesday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Ellsworth Tilton officiating with Cascade Chapter No 155 O.E.S. having charge of graveside services at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
