Laurens, SC, June 14.
"Mrs. Eliza WATTS BALL, mother of William W. BALL, editor of the Charleston News and Courier, died today at the home where she had lived for 60 years. She was the widow of Col. B.W. BALL. She was born here February 6, 1848. Besides her son and a daughter Mrs. M.L. COPELAND, with whom she lived, Mrs. BALL is survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at the residence Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The Rev. A.R. STUART, Episcopal minister of Laurens, will officiate. Burial will be in Laurens Cemetery."
